This year Easter falls on my Mom’s birthday. So we get to celebrate her as well as the holiday. Making it memorable with spending time with family and good food!
We are making pancakes and having our own little Easter egg hunt in the back yard! I’m getting the baskets from aldi!
Spending time with family!
We will go to Aldi as family and pick our menu on what looks good and prepare it as a family. We are planning a hike and picnic lunch o enjoy the signs of spring after church
I plan to spend Easter with my family, soaking up every minute of time with them! They make every holiday so special 🙂
I plan to spend it with loved ones, sharing a home-cooked meal.
Last weekend I got my husband and son Choceur milk chocolate bunnies for Easter at Aldi. Shhh! I’ve got them hidden. I hope they will still be in their hiding place on Easter morning. They have a way of finding things I hide.
We will be celebrating Easter all weekend starting with an underwater egg hunt at our local YMCA! We will share a meal with my parents on Saturday and my husbands parents on Sunday. And of course that means 2 egg hunts with our cousins??
I plan on going to church and spending time with my husband and relaxing 🙂
Easter Sunrise service with yummy breakfast prepared by the hosting local church and a spirit filled praise service later in the day to celebrate the Easter gift. Then time with as much of my family as I can. Cherish it all!
We’re having an Easter egg hunt at home for the kids.
By spending time with family and making memories!
I’m planning to help make this Easter memorable by holding a backyard Easter Egg hunt for my nephews and niece. I also plan to bake some delicious desserts for us to enjoy after my mom’s wonderful dinner.
Spending the day at home making sure to eat some chocolate!
I plan to make it special by having a big breakfast then letting the kids join a neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt
Am I the only one not knowing what we are doing for Easter yet. It just somehow crept up on me this year and no plans have been made. So hopefully I’ll come up with some way to make it memorable.
My nephew and his family are visiting from Kentucky, so I’m having a huge family dinner.
My son’s “Noni” will be coming in to town to celebrate with us, so we’ll have a ham dinner at home on Saturday evening and then out to brunch on Sunday. We’ll take the little guy (4.5 y/o) for pics with the Easter bunny, dye eggs, and have an egg hunt in the back yard (using plastic eggs filled with candy and trinkets; the dyed eggs will go into salads, etc.).
I plan on making Easter memorable by spending it with family, having good food, and celebrating Jesus’ life!
I plan on making it memorable by having an egg hunt for all of the kids this year.
Trying to follow your principles and not stress about the “damage” I’ll do if my kids get some candy at Easter!
I’m doing an egg hunt for my little cousins, and my fiance has been craving “puppy chow,” so we are going to take a stab at making that for the first time! 🙂
We are celebrating early so we have our blended family together. Everyone selected one favorite food!
I don’t live near family so I’ll be using Easter as a “me day”. Self care for the win!
I’m hosting my family for dinner and my niece and mother in law are planning an egg hunt in our yard for my three kids and their three other cousins!
I’m using the day off work and nursing school to reconnect with family and friends!! Lots of self-care needed here!
Spending time with family. Planned a nice meal with a long walk after.
I took over the Polish coffee-cake baking (placek!) this year from my mom; hopefully it will be memorable in a good way!
The biggest way Easter is going to be memorable this year is that it’s the first Easter with babies! We’re doing a family weekend and everyone of course is most excited about my 5 month old and my sister’s almost-one year old. May try a very scaled down egg hunt. 😉 Happy Easter!
Practicing being mindful during the family dinner!
We have 7 kiddos, ranging in age from 18yo-4yo. My 18yo daughter loves to fill the colorful plastic eggs with candy, and then she makes a trail for each little kiddo in a different color to follow from their bedrooms. They really look forward to it every year. She’s such a good big sister!
Our granddaughter has braces now so we are filling her basket with a few candies but mostly mixed nuts, Aunt Annie’s organic bunny shaped cheese crackers and pretzels and some dried fruit. Along with these, we’re tucking in a lot of hair bands, clips, bows, and such. Not to mention the coloring book, crayons, blank book, and stickers.
And the biggest bunny in the world which we grabbed after Easter last year for only $7. Best time to buy stuffed bunnies is after Easter for sure. 🙂
Me and my son are going to see a movie then have ice cream at Farrel’s!
