Delight Mom with a Memorable Brunch
Whether Mom prefers breakfast in bed or a family brunch around the table, you’ll delight her with this Spinach and Turkey Egg Casserole. First spread cooked ground turkey in a baking pan, next add your broccoli, red pepper and baby spinach. Then add your eggs – so simple! Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. When it’s done, uncover and sprinkle with feta cheese and bake uncovered for about another 20 minutes. Breakfast never looked so good!
Shopping at ALDI can help introduce your family to better-for-you foods, whether it’s a new vegetable in this casserole or a new – healthier – way of preparing a favorite recipe.
Bake Up a Batch of Love
What could be a better Mother’s Day treat than a healthy, delicious cookie! Here we have Berry Breakfast Cookies, which everyone loves to eat and the kids will love to help make. These cookies are made with bananas, almond milk, crunchy peanut butter, sweet dried berries and oats and they cook up in about 30 minutes. This is something you can do ahead of time on the weekend.
I also used SimplyNature Organic Coconut Oil in the cookies. Simply Nature has nearly 200 everyday products AND all SimplyNature products are free of 125 artificial ingredients and are either organic or verified by the Non-GMO Project.
Build a Yogurt Sundae Bar
Who says sundaes can’t be healthy. This is a Yogurt Sundae made with fresh fruit, yogurt and granola and great for any special Mother’s Day occasion. The granola happens to be from the liveGfree line, making it a safe gluten-free option. For shoppers who need or want to avoid gluten, ALDI has a full line of gluten-free products, from yummy cake mixes to fresh bakery bread, all under the exclusive liveGfree brand.
What I love about these Yogurt Sundaes is you make your own fruit flavored yogurt by blending plain yogurt with Specialty Selected fruit spreads.
Raise a Glass to Mom
Celebrate mom by serving up a colorful display with a Mimosa Bar for the adults and fun mocktails for the kids too. You may not know, ALDI stores offer award-winning wines and world-class beers for the perfect twist to elevate your traditional mimosa!
Give mom the rest and relaxation she deserves and let your guest create their own cocktails. Pick up a few bottles of Arosa Sparkling Moscato Rosé and the award-winning Chiaré Blanc de Blanc from ALDI.
Keep your bubbly chilled in an ice bucket. Then add carafes of juices, like Nature’s Nectar Raspberry Lemonade, Nature’s Nectar 100% Blendz Peach and Mango, and Nature’s Nectar Premium Orange Juice Not from Concentrate. Don’t forget to serve fresh fruit, like lemons, raspberries, strawberries and oranges for pretty garnishes.
If you’re looking for a non-alcoholic option, this Mango Strawberry Sunset Smoothie is a perfect drink to brighten your Mother’s Day. It’s made with fresh strawberries, mango, vanilla Greek yogurt, and Agave Nectar.
In a blender you combine mango with yogurt and agave to create the yellow layer, to make the pink color, swap out the mango for strawberries. Save some fresh fruit to add for a colorful garnish.

The best thing about being a mom is watching these little people grow into their own person… The curiosity, the joy, the tantrums lol. At the end of the day, if I accomplish nothing else, I have already done so much just by mothering them ❤
Words cannot express how much my mom means to me and those who know her. As the only working parent in my family (my dad was disabled), she spent her time at a job that she wasn’t truly passionate about yet continued to pursue her passion on the side by going to law school and getting her degree… while still working! She didn’t sacrifice family, still providing dinner and support when she could, and now is able to pursue that degree into her profession since us kids are now supporting ourselves. She has been a rock I can lean on, someone to turn to when I have questions, and a constant supporter of me and my pursuits. I am so honored to have her in my life and can’t wait to share what I’ve learned from her with my own family.
I am adopted, and my mom has taught me that chosen family is every bit as important, special, and loving as blood family. I am so grateful to have ended up with my mom.
What I love about being a mom to my 7 year old boy & 4 year old girl is the amazing relationship I build with the wonderful people! I enjoy weaving our family values into their personal values and coming to a win-win place. They have shaped me into an authentic, patient, authoritative parent. What a gift of kindness they give daily. I cherish this role!
I love being a mom to two amazing daughters – the best part is watching them grow into every bit of their potential.
A message to my mom…..I love that as we’ve each gotten older our relationship continues to get stronger. I appreaciate all the love and support you’ve given me during this changing time in my life. Looking forward to what the future holds.
I love seeing their growth into kind and insightful adults. I am grateful to see the love they share between them. As a mother seeing your children maintain a close and loving relationship is heartwarming.
I am grateful for my mom because she always supports me in everything I choose to do. She encourages me. I am grateful that we get to do mother daughter trips and spend time together.
There is a lot I love about being a mom. I’ve become a stronger person since having my children. They push me into being a better person and to enjoy the small things in life. My munchkins make me laugh everyday.
I love being a mom because I get to watch my kid, who just happens to have CP, growing, learning, and thriving!
It amazes me how my mom, without a college education and very few hours logged into a workplace off the farm we grew up on and she still lives and works on daily, how she has taught me more about life and love and strength and compassion than any of the hours i’ve clocked in for my BSW or MSW. It also amazes me as I type this how often I probably let her know this…good gut check for this mama, good gut check indeed! And thank you for how your podcast is helping me as I learn to “mama” my own 9 year old blossoming daughter with a body love and kindness I never possessed myself.
i love how my kids are each other’s friend. makes me feel like we’re doing something right:)
