It’s Time to Get Sizzlin’
Grilling is by far one of my favorite ways to cook during the warmer months and with summer is in full swing, I’ve teamed up with ALDI to share a few of my top grilling picks. Whether you’re firing up the gas grill for a quick weeknight dinner or hosting a crowd, we’ve got you covered!
ALDI consistently has the best quality foods at the best prices including fresh produce, organics, and everyday items like olive oil that won’t break the bank, saving you up to 50% compared to other grocery stores.
Crowd Pleasing Grilled Appetizer
For easy, make-ahead appetizers, try these Summer Pinwheels made with turkey, ham, arugula, and a delicious cheese spread you make with a little mayo, mustard, and red pepper flakes. You can even add these to the grill for a few minutes if you wanted to serve them warm!
For the Meat Lovers
You can’t go wrong with this Chili Rubbed Flat Iron Steak for your upcoming Forth of July cookout. This quick and easy wet rub made with chipotle peppers, cumin and paprika has a little kick of heat, but not too spicy so everyone can enjoy. For the best flavor, let the steak marinate overnight in the fridge before tossing it on the grill.
Don’t miss out on ALDI’s incredible Weekly Fresh Meat Specials. When you see the “Weekly Fresh Meat Special” sign, you’ll find extra-low prices on the very best cuts of meat.
Kabobs are always a favorite of mine, so I had to share these Grilled Herb Chicken Skewers. The marinate takes only 15 minutes and sizzle of the chicken hitting the grill and the aroma of rosemary and garlic cooking into the chicken will have your neighbors wishing they were invited to your dinner table. Serve the chicken skewers over a bed of Simply Nature arugula lightly dressed with olive oil and lemon zest for a refreshing and delicious summer meal.
Perfect Grilled Vegetables (and so EASY!)
I love all the fresh and colorful veggies that are starting to explode from the gardens. So while we are talking kebobs, how about complimenting your grilled meats with these Grilled Balsamic Vegetable Pops! These skewers are so colorful with zucchini, corn, peppers and mushrooms, and it’s also great for veggies from your garden.
Pierce your veggies with skewers and drizzle with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and place on a hot grill. Once they are golden brown (about 10 minutes), pull them and drizzle with balsamic vinegar for a zingy flavor. And if you are using wooden skewers, don’t forget to soak them in water for 10 minutes prior to grilling to prevent them from burning.

Happy summer!
I enjoy veggies grilled on the grill, especially brussels sprouts. I roast them in a pan drizzled with olive oil and provence herbs. SO very good! Aldi is one of my favorite stores, especially for staples.
We love to grill steak and kielbasa kabobs!
These recipes look delicious! We use our grill a lot during the summer. I love steak and veggies on the grill. I also love family get togethers over the summer where grilled burgers and pineapple are always a hit!
We love to spend as much time as possible outside on our deck, so we are big BBQ fans. We love to grill burgers most often, and sometimes pizza. It is very easy to grill pizza – just make sure that the grate is well oiled. Grill the pizza for a couple minutes on one side, then flip and add toppings. You can put the grill cover on to get the cheese gooey and melty. We would love to win this prize in order to buy more awesome ALDI ingredients!
Thanks for the chance to win!

Love Aldi’s selection and prices!
We use the grill for burgers .mostly, but the grilled veggie kabobs look amazing! Definitely trying that this year!
We grill chicken and BBQ ribs
I went to a braii that my friend was hosting and she lived in South Africa for a while so she had every meat imaginable with amazing spices!
I look forward to every summer we can grill together so I’d love to win the gift card to share an evening with her 🙂

I prefer charcoal grilling. Right now I have a small tabletop gas grill. I like to grill hot wings, pork chops, marinated chicken, zucchini & asparagus. One of my favorites is a recipe from Reader’s Digest years ago for Lemon Lime Chicken: 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1/4 cup cider vinegar, 3 tablespoons each lemon juice and lime juice, 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon pepper & 1/2 teaspoon salt.
I’d love to win the book because I need to do something to improve my eating and exercise habits.
My favorite way to grill is with a gas grill as it makes things easier. I will usually make teriyaki salmon with the standard teriyaki marinade that you can find at any store. I like to make things as quick and easy as possible. I would love to win as I love shopping at ALDI.
I love to grill on our charcoal grill. We love grilled veggies especially when we pick them fresh from the garden. We always cook so there are plenty of leftovers for a few days worth of meals. Sandwiches made out of leftover vegetables and meats topped with homemade aioli and fresh herbs are delicious. (In a hurry, put fresh herbs, garlic, spices, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and your favorite pre-made mayonaisse in the mini food processor).
I’d love the giveaway as we have had a groundhog problem the last few years and he has been eating our garden. (Last year, I had 13 tomato plants and got 11 cherry tomatoes! 🙁 ). Aldi is our go-to grocery for their great produce and prices. And I could definitely use some “Body Kindness”
Grilled veggies are my absolute favorite way to eat them!
My husband cuts and soaks his own hickory for use on the grill for flavor. Two of our favorites for grilling are marinated tuna steaks and marinated turkey London broil. But really, the hickory enhances any meat of your choice.
Not only do I love grilling lots of veggies and veggie burgers, but I LOVE the togetherness that the summer and outdoors brings along. Grilling is about more than food but about spending time with friends, family, and new people, while also connecting with nature. <3
I like to grill shrimp and pineapple together, salmon and skewered veggies. I like all the healthy options I have when grilling.
