Why I Love Giovanni Rana
Giovanni Rana fresh filled tortelloni and ravioli are made up of a thin layer of pasta wrapped around a variety of cheeses, vegetables or meats. I like it because the vast majority of “work” in a delicious pasta meal is done for you.
All I do is follow the directions on the bag and choose my sauce. (I happen to love the basil pesto.) Most of the pastas cook in 4 minutes or less. Honestly, I think the longest part is getting your pasta water to boil.
I also love the use of ingredients. Quality ingredients come through in the taste. For example, Giovanni Rana uses only whole eggs, which guarantees a rich, golden pasta and provides high-quality protein.
Enter the contest below and try Giovanni Rana next time you shop. Here are three ways I’ve been enjoying Giovanni Rana.
Creative Use of Leftovers
If you’re like me, you hate wasting food. That’s why I try to find ways to use my holiday leftovers. A great way is by choosing any Giovanni Rana pasta, like Spinach & Ricotta, and pairing it with any leftovers I have on hand. For example, extra roasted Brussels sprouts, green beans, and grape tomatoes sliced in half make a colorful, balanced plate.
One inexpensive way you can add more plant protein and fiber to your pasta dishes is using canned beans. I like cannelini (white beans) for their creamy texture and you can try any bean you like!
Of course, you can never go wrong with a classic Italian dish. This is great because its easy to pull together and you know everyone will enjoy it.
Use Giovanni Rana Fettuccine pasta and your favorite tomato sauce.
Or even better, host a build-your-own pasta bar for a holiday potluck or fun family night activity.
Provide three types of pasta and sauces and let your guests mix-and-match. Try the Giovanni Rana basil pesto, portobello mushroom, or alfredo sauce.
Try Something New
We get joy out of trying new things! Choose any of Giovanni Rana’s diverse ravioli or tortelloni options:
- Butternut Squash Ravioli
- Chicken Mozzarella Tortelloni
- Shrimp & Lobster Ravioli, and much more.
There are so many ways to expand your taste buds and enjoy foods, like pairing Giovanni Rana tortelloni with your favorite soup. (It’s good!)
Or pair your pasta of choice with vegetables, meats, and beans. Tip: grating a vegetable like cauliflower or broccoli (cooked or raw) into pasta or pesto sauce is a great way to get more veggies into your day.
No matter which Giovanni Pasta you choose, you can pull together something quick and easy without compromising on quality ingredients. You can see a wide variety of products and recipes on the Giovanni Rana products page.
Enjoy time with friends and family this holiday season with the help of Giovanni Rana. Leave a comment below with your favorite way to enjoy pasta and which Giovanni Rana product you want to try.
