What’s New at ALDI? Earth Grown
ALDI has added a new line of vegetarian and vegan products like Earth Grown meatless meatballs and hot dogs as well black bean and quinoa crunch veggie burgers. These are easy to “heat and eat” any day of the week and they’re delicious for the whole family to enjoy. Be on the lookout for packages labeled “Earth Grown” and try them with your family meals.
Save on Fresh Produce, Including Organics
You can find your family’s favorite fruits and vegetables for less at ALDI (find an ALDI nearest you with the store locator). It’s so much easier to eat well when your grocery bill doesn’t “break the bank.”
I save time during the busy week by pre-chopping most of my fresh produce, making the lunch packing and dinner prep a lot faster and easier.
Savory Waffles – with Cauliflower
If you’re looking for a twist on waffles this savory recipe may be it. I love making Cauliflower Waffle with Chicken and Jalapeño Sauce for weekend brunch and then enjoying the leftovers on a Monday night when I really don’t love to cook.
Chicken Torta and Tuna-Less Sandwiches
I love these easy, anytime-anywhere sandwiches that can be made in minutes. If you make the waffles above, the chicken torta actually uses the leftover chicken and sauce – a clever time-saving idea!
For the vegetarian or vegan friends or family members, or if you’re trying to eat more plant-based meals, the tuna-less sandwich is full of flavor and the chickpeas, serving as a replacement for tuna fish, provide fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals.
Let ALDI Help You Plan and Prep Meals
One of the things I love about the ALDI website is the special features that allow you plan meals and make your grocery list. When you get in the store, you’ll find the best quality foods at the best prices. With all the perks, ALDI makes it easier to “say yes” to healthy living in 2018.

This year I’m hoping to finally make fruit and veggies a regular part of my day. I’m planning to focus on eating the ones I enjoy best, in ways I really like. P.S. The new meatless meatballs at Aldi are fantastic and a big hit with my whole family!
Love Aldi! My daughter became a vegetarian a year ago and we are incorporating more vegetarian dishes into our dinners. Aldi has a nice selection.
A positive way I’m practicing self care this year is spending more time with myself. I find in this busy schedule I created last year I lost the my “me” time. So now I spend more chill time, workout time, and friend time to make me happier! Ugh I really hope I can win this gift card! Aldi is my favorite place to get groceries!
I signed up for Body Kindness Spiral Up!!! 🙂
I’m trying to add more fruits and vegetables to family meals in delicious ways. I want good food to taste great for my family rather than trying to cajole everyone to eat boring, bland “healthy” food. I want my kids to associate healthy food with delicious food!
This year I have to remind myself that it’s okay to not be a shiny, happy person on the outside all the time (b/c that’s exhausting), and that I deserve to slow down, to rest, to recharge, and to take care of me before everyone else.
This year, I am not stepping on the scale every day. I am focusing on mall my time for walks and squeezing 25 min of gym time two to three times per week. Instead of bearing myself up for not working out every day, or worrying about my weight every day, or even week.
“Making” time.
My boyfriend and I recently started shopping at ALDI and love the new black bean burgers and affordability! This year I am incorporating several self-care techniques including a 10 minute mindful breathing practice each day to de-stress and focus.
I’m not beating myself up if I make a less healthful choice.
Being kinder to myself.
I just recently re-discovered ALDI and I love it! I am working on not banishing favorite foods (like oreo’s, ice cream, and chips) from my house and enjoying them when it feels right. If they are there all the time I don’t feel like I have to scarf them down and can take my time eating one or two when I want to. To me that is self-care, not restricting the foods that I like.
This year I am allowing myself to eat the foods I once “feared”, regardless of the time of day/day of the week/month, etc. I will also, no longer allow others to affect how I feel about myself.
Leave the guilt behind. Enjoy what I enjoy and adjust with out concern for what was.
Participating in Spiral Up Club!
This year I’m working on eating intuitively and really forgiving myself if I don’t!
I’m leaving dieting behind and learning to eat intuitively.
I’m so excited they opened an Aldi recently not too far from me. I haven’t been yet but I want to go check it out. Since 2018 is my year to ditch the diet I would have fun using that $50 gift card at Aldi to buy lots of yummy new things to try.
This year I am continuing to spiral up by rereading Body Kindness and Intuitive Eating, as well as moving my body more.
Taking at least one day per week to both to work and not have schoolwork to do! It’s so important for me to mentally recharge. Also, we started a “short shorts” girl gang at the climbing gym I work and climb at to promote body love. I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes!
This year I am focusing on intuitive eating, and using my spare time to do things I am passionate about!
I am practicing body kindness this year by focusing on my daily spiral ups, finding movement I enjoy, and eating intuitively. As I go through this, I hope to develop my inner caregiver voice. I’m great at taking care of others, and now need to turn that talent on taking care of myself.
This year I’m not just ignoring diet culture, I’m speaking up against it. Scary but exciting!
This year I’m not only ignoring diet culture, I’m speaking up and challenging the people responsible. It’s super scary but exciting!
I am practicing self care by spending time each morning practicing mindfulness, journaling and setting my intentions for the day. Love Aldi…shop there weekly!
