Get the book former dieters are raving about! Learn how to let go once and for all.

When I wrote Body Kindness, I really wanted to create a place where people at every stage in their journey could find resources, a community of love and support, and some actionable steps for saying BYE to diets and HELLO to a better life -- one filled with more freedom, happiness, and better health than diets could ever provide.
But sometimes, to truly make a change, you have to do something big. Something dramatic. Something that ensures that you never go back to the emotional and physical traps that have made you so unhappy.
An oppressive history twisting health with weight and harming our relationship with our bodies.
Since the early 1900's we've been tortured by a hunk of metal that was basically sold to us by male executives and advertisers. They said "health, beauty, success, and happiness all depend on your weight." They said controlling your weight was good for everyone in the family.
We know this is not true at all.
We know how much we have suffered, hungered, and sweated through punishing food and exercise plans all promising to make us lighter and better.
We know that dieting is not the path to happiness and body liberation.
It's time to get rid of this weapon of mass obsession.
When you sign up, you'll receive weekly emails from me with inspirations, prompts, celebrations, and more. I'm excited to show you how giving up the scale helps you redefine the way you look at yourself and your future.
Here's what other "scale smashers" say
In the past, I let the number on that little digital device hold way to much power over me. I would weigh everyday and the direction of the number on that scale literally determined what kind of day I was going to have! I'm done.
I still have a scale but it's my luggage weigher! Not for people!
My scale is just a thing I move when I mop. Haven't stepped on it for a long long time, and your book helped me let go of the guilt!
Giving up on dieting is not giving up.
It's making room.
Room for a new way of thinking, living, and being in the world.
Room for your body to take up the space it needs to thrive and help you do all the beautiful things you do each day.
Room to heal your broken relationship with yourself.
Room to be kind, once again.
Smashing the scale is not just about literally smashing your bathroom scale (though I highly recommend it). It's about looking deeply at all the other "scales" in your life.
Judgement.
Think of all the ways you judge yourself and how it really makes you feel. Never enough. A body comparison becomes a statement of your own self-worth. It would be better to not compare in the first place, but humans make mistakes. The better thing to focus on is what you do AFTER you catch yourself in judgment or shame.
